Shakespeare’s sonnets set to music

Shakespeare’s Sonnets have been put to music for the first time to celebrate the cultural Olympiad of 2012. The album will be released on St. Georges Day, April 23rd, which is also the anniversary of Shakespeare’s birthday.

The album blends the use of early instruments and playing styles with modern recording techniques under the musical direction of Robert Hollingworth.
